Anybody have any punk or post-punk band suggestions?

I think you should consider listening to the Public Image Ltd. I personally hate their music but they were under the direction of Pistols' frontman Johnny Rotten and they have been consistently regarded as one of the best post punk groups of all time, so they can't be all that bad.
