How do you change the rotors on a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?

Im replacing the front rotors on my girlfriends jeep, and iv gotten the calipers off...now shouldnt the rotor slide right off the hub? or do i need to mess with the big bolt in the center of the rotor? You know the one thats got a pin in it?
