Graphic novels or comic recommendations?

I want to start reading graphic novels or comic (i think they're the same thing), I read stuff like Harry Potter, twilight, uglies that kinda stuff but I recently got scott pilgrim the first book i haven't read it yet though, I looked up some cool graphic novels The Umbrella Academy (reviews appreciated), what are some cool graphic novels out there? :) NO MANGA
