How do I stop crushing on my primary physician?

Hmm since you say he is so caring perhaps you have mistaken his interest and he is that way w/ everyone. Ask a nurse if he is married. YES, she will probably tell him you asked. But, that may be what he needs to ask you out if he is interested or be really cold at your next appt.if he isn't. Try wearing something casual to the next appt. Nothing wrong w/ the type dress you mention but very few people wear a dress to a doctor's appt. even if they are executives and come in on a work day. If he isn't interested, then keep it ALL about medical symptoms, etc. on future visits if you want to keep him as your doctor. He may be interested but it wouldn't be ethical for him to date you and still treat you so maybe he is torn? Or he could be so nervous as he has finally picked up on the fact you are interested in him, as opposed to just being a communicative grateful patient and he is nervous. Usually when that happens, the doctor will make sure a nurse is in the room for the entire visit.
