Isn't this the most bizarre thing?

The kid probably does this kind of thing and lies so often that the mother is no used to it and has come to expect it. As much as people try to be good parents, there comes a point where children become individuals, and no matter how much you try to influence, they will still make their own decisions in life, regardless of whether they are the right decisions or the wrong decisions.
