How do i use flycam with a laptop.?

i saw videos on youtube and saw several tutorials on how to use it. i got as far as pressing ~ then debug_camera_save then debug_camera_load. the tutorial tells me to press the scroll Wheel to enable the camera. I DONT HAVE A SCROLL WHEEL! is there anyway to use the camera with a laptop
