1986 firebird clutch problem.?

i was driving my 1986 trans am today doing around 35km/h when i went to shift from second to third gear. as i pressed the clutch pedal down there was a loud "snapping" noise and it felt as if the pedal was just hanging there. i shifted without the clutch and limped into a parking lot and couldnt get it into gear at all after that. the engine will still start but will not go into gear. before this happened there have been no problems and the clutch seemed healthy. it has a 305 and a 5-speed t-5 trans. any suggestions?

Plastic film on windows?

previous owners put frosted plastic film on a plain window - they then decided to build a fake window ledge thus reducing the drop of the window from the inside, though outside you could still see the gl. We need to remove the plastic film but a false wall has been built in front of the gl so there isnt much room to get your hands in and peel it off - is there a product which can put on it to make to help its removal and not damage the gl ?

Hey this is a question about my friend and her family. A few weeks ago my friend Emily went shopping with her sister Morgan. Morgan and her husband Juan have 3 kids, Selena age 33 months, Bridget age 33 months, and Andrew age 9 months. So a few weeks ago when they went shopping, Morgan had the babysitter come over to watch the kids. They have known her since the twins were born and trust her. When the twins were sleeping, Andrew was crawling around because he refused to sleep. The babysitter was in the den watching tv. During lunch she had used scissors to cut open something and put them on the counter. They had fallen on the floor but she didn't know. So when Andrew was crawling around he found the scissors. So about 10 minutes later Morgan and Emily arrived home. When Emily walked in the house Morgan heard her scream. There was Andrew laying on the floor in a pool of blood dead. He had cut his mouth and throat. It's been a few weeks and the whole family is still devastated especially Emily and Morgan. Emily is 18 and in college and Morgan is 26 and a 2nd grade teacher. How should I handle jealousy?

I am a jealous-natured person. I love women and I can't stand it if others hang around with the women I like. For example, I feel jealous if I find my best friend talking to my close friends because it creates an emotion on me when I think that the closest friend with whom my best friend is talking to might like him more than me in near future. It just creates a fear and anger on me and I feel extremely jealous. You don't need 1, 2 or 3. You want to keep 4 that's office not windows. If you have to reinstall office you will need to buy it if you don't have the disc and key. 5 is old and outdated and you don't use it but you might? I would get rid of it. 6 you don't need. Discs 7,8,9,10 and 11 you should keep you could most likely download all of them or newer verisons from dell but if you system crashes you will need them.

My 16 month old niece is 'terrorizing' everyone! Is this normal?

Set of by the slightest thing, she is biting, pushing, hitting, beating kids with toys, etc... Very physical child, dare I go so far as to say violent. My daughter is getting the brunt of it since they've lived together since Niece has been born. It's gone from Just my daughter, to my niece attacking me, her mother, her father, other kids at daycare, everyone. She's unfazed by anything. Time out infuriates her, and she goes immediately back to her behavior. (time out isn't something we've tried once and dubbed it a failure, we've been doing it for months) She gets set aside for one and a half minutes, asked to apologize which usually leads to a hug, then goes about her business, and gets aggressive again shortly afterward. Day care has threatened to kick her out once, and we don't want that. We are looking for opinions, suggestions, first hand experiences.... Help, please. Her mom is a first time mother, I have two kids, one 2 and one 6months. My 2 year old is a dream with mild tantrums. My father tended to my brothers by physical reprimandation. Dying Plant? Please Help!?

I have an Avocado Plant that I got from outside growing in my compost. I took some soil outside and put the plant in a pot because it was too cold out side. About 3 months later there was little centipede like bugs in the soil crawling every where! So I put the plant in the basement for about a month. When we got potting soil. We then took the plant out and rinsed off its roots. We blended 2 jalapeno peppers and 6 cloves off garlic in the blender. We add some water and sprayed the plants,roots. and new soil with the spray. And we sprayed it's leaves. Then we put it by my window. It's been 3 days and its all wilted! I really don't want it too die! Any suggestions?

the paper said up to 7 mg/L and mine was 22 mg/L..the doctor called me in and told me i had some immflamation in my back.. yea..i do...i had to quit my job because i am physically incapable of the tasks...unless i sit on my *** for a few days up to the day i need to do something, than i am screwed. the more i move..the more pain and less mobility i have. i am being tested for the HLA-B27 gene ..havent got the results back yet. .the doctor i saw did x rays and he looked at them and said he thought i had a bit of sacroilititis...or spondyi or what ever...but when i got the x ray results back...it said the discs are maintained and the joint spaces and sacro-iliac joints are maintained..no erosion or degenerative change is seen. any ideas? someone tried telling me i have lower mechanical back pain....i seriously think there is something else wrong....i cant bend over to pick something up...ive heard crp can elevate if ur fat too..and i am overweight...i have seen a chiropractor too

F-1 STUDENT WORKING W/O SCHOOL AUTHORIZATION?

I am an F1 student. I am currently in deferrement for my cles in the fall semester because I am pregnant and I am having some medical problems with my pregnancy. However, that comes in handy for me because I owe the school 8,000 for past due fees and I need to get those paid to also return to school. I was working on a CPT but that has ended. The school called my employer and told them that it ended for the spring/summer semester and that I also can not work because of the medical deferrement. But I need to work at least part time to support my baby (father has left) I have my social security card and it says it is for employment purposes only and that it is DHS authorization. My question is can I still work at another job without the school approval? I was told by my International Student advisor that I should not do that but I am pregnant and NEED money to support my baby and to pay my school fee's! I was told that they (international student advisor) tell you that to scare you but I don't want to mess up status but will the school know and find out about me working even if I don't get authorization from them? Do they check and see if you are working? I really need to work! Thanks!

Scared of the dark. Really serious?

So I'm 15 almost 16 and I am extremely afraid of the dark. Mainly of that exorcist girl. Every time I try to fall asleep I see her in my mind and right now it is 1:36 AM and I keep looking at my left if anyone is staring at me. I sleep with the TV and that helps a lot! However every time I shut my eyes I have to open them every 30 seconds to see if anyone's there. I keep telling myself "They aren't real. They are fake. Never believe them.." It doesn't help.. How do you keep pacifiers clean, once the baby learns to pick it up and put it in her mouth?

Until about a month ago, my daughter couldn't put her binky in her mouth by herself. Whenever it fell on the floor, or any other unclean surface, we would wash it and then give it to her. She finally figured out how to put it in her mouth, and now whenever she's playing on the floor, she picks it up and it goes right into her mouth. We put a big blanket on the carpet where she plays, but now she learned to scoot backwards, and sometimes gets off the blanket. I don't even want to think where that binky will be, once she starts crawling around. I vacuum often, but we have to cats, and a lot of hardwood floors, so there's some dust... Hurts worse than it helps. Go to the drug store and pick up a tube of Orabase with Benzocaine. You no longer need a prescription for it. After a month I don't think it could be possible to start lactation again. I’m about 6’1, 190 lb, Caucasian, medium frame, shaved head, and white skin with dark eyes. People tell me I look pissed off all the time, but I always try to be polite. Tourette's and the Army?

I've always struggled with tourette's when I was a kid, I had real bad facial and head tics/twitches that I couldn't control. I took medicine that seemed to help and hide the symptoms. A little over two years ago I stopped taking the medicine and felt perfectly fine, I kinda umed it went away. However, a year ago I enlisted in the army and didn't mention the tourette's partially due to recruiter influence and cause I had umed it went away. I know that alone can get me in trouble, but the problem now is I deploy to Iraq in a few months and it has been acting up quite a bit. It acted up once in November, 2008 while i was in AIT but went away after a few days, but I paid no mind. However lately its been acting up a lot more, I believe do to the stress. I'm a gunner for a maneuver platoon and I'm really worried about it affecting the safety of both my battle buddies and myself. Does anyone know what might happen if I go to my chain of command about it? Would I get discharged or simply recled? If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

They are not huge books - the first three are quite small. They are also a very easy read; it's not like she's asking you to read clic literature. 4 weeks is easily enough time. I would at least take a trot to your local clinic or health dept. and have them check you out. Trust me, it is a simple procedure when caught early, instead of being cut open from belly on to your privates due to not being caught before it ruptures. At least just check it out.....
